Survivors include her husband of 47 years Robert M. She had also worked as an operating room nurse at Aultman Hospital and practiced nursing at Massillon City Hospital, Doctors Hospital, and was the school nurse at Walsh College. In 2013, Grace retired after 30 years from the Practical Nurse Program of Canton City Schools, where she had served as administrator and instructor. Grace was a 1971 graduate of Perry (Canton) High School, received her RN upon graduating from Aultman School of Nursing, earned a BA of Science from Walsh College and Masters of Education from Kent State University. She was born Jan 1, 1954, in Brilliant, Ohio, to Robert Leslie Wise and Grace Loucetta (Pitzer) Wise and has resided in Washington Twp her married life. Grace loved life, her family, friends, pets, and enjoyed creating fabric arts and traveling. 6, 2022, peacefully at her home after an extended illness. The legacy of her unwavering strength and perseverance, humility, and selfless love and devotion will live on through her family and friends. Lilly was preceded in death by her husband O.D. At 93, she was as beautiful as ever, and she generously shared time with family and friends. With her characteristic ornery smile, Lilly always teased, “I used to be young and pretty, but now I’m only pretty”. Most of all she loved her family, and whether she was talking about them or spending time with them, there was nothing dearer to her. She loved her animals and she loved birds. She loved being a helper and was known to drop everything at a moment’s notice if she could do something for someone else. She was an avid and talented golfer and enjoyed volunteering her time in numerous local service projects. Lilly was an active and devoted Member of Christ United Methodist Church in Louisville. shared generously with the Louisville community. ![]() Miller Electric Company headquartered in Louisville, OH, and grew the company to support their families and the families of their treasured employees for generations. Lilly immigrated to the United States in 1947 at the age of 18 to marry the love of her life, Orland Dale “O.D.” Miller of Hartville, OH, whom she met while he was serving as a Sergeant in the United States Army during WWII. Lilly was born Main Munich, Germany to the late Johann “Hanz” and Maria (Hauslmeier) Hunger. She died peacefully in her home holding the hands of her family amidst all of her favorite things. and sons Dale and Don with the Lord on Friday, October 14, 2022.
